How does coaching work? 

If you're new to coaching, it can be difficult to imagine what the experience of being coached is like and how it can help you. This two minute video is a good starting point to understand more about what coaching is and what it isn't. 

Although each coach may have a different style and approach, the centre of all coaching relationships is the client and their agenda. The coach is not there to tell the client what to do but to draw out insights through various techniques based around questioning and listening. It sounds simple and, in some ways, it is! However, a skilled coach will use advanced questioning and listening practices that go well beyond what we do in our daily life to help their client understand themselves better, gain different perspectives and find solutions to challenges.

In every session I feel that we made real progress in achieving good answers to the questions we discussed. I am very happy and even surprised by the way we managed to reveal precise answers.
